What we collect. When you use the contact form we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message. If you become a client, we also hold the material you send us for the build and the account details needed to put the site live.
Why we collect it. To reply to you, to quote the work, and to build and run what you have asked for. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it. Only the services we need to run the business: our email, hosting and payment providers, and the calendar and phone providers behind the receptionist. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job.
Callers to your business. If we run the front desk for you, we handle the details your callers give us on your behalf: name, number, what they need, and appointment times. You are the owner of that information. We hand it over or delete it whenever you ask.
How long we keep things. Inquiries that do not become work are deleted once they are no longer live. Client records are kept while you are a client, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights. Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email miah@miahlabs.com and we will deal with it.
Cookies and tracking. This site stores one thing on your device: which color palette you chose, so the page looks the same when you come back. There is no analytics and no advertising tracking.
Terms of service
What you are buying. A one-time build at $500, which includes thirty days of changes and support, and optionally a monthly plan: Platform at $50, Platform + AI at $150, or Everything at $300 with 1,000 voice minutes. Add-ons and the $0.24 per minute overage rate are listed on the pricing page. What is included in each is set out there and in the quote we send you.
Ownership. When the build is paid for, the site and its files are yours. Domain and hosting accounts are registered in your name, and a monthly plan changes nothing about that. We keep no lien on your site, your domain, your phone number or your customer list.
What you provide. Copy approvals, photos, prices, hours, and access to the accounts we need. Delays in getting these back move the timeline.
Canceling. Cancel a monthly plan at any time. The plan runs to the end of the paid month. Call forwarding to the receptionist stops and your number keeps ringing to you as before. The site stays yours, and we help move hosting if it was with us. No cancellation fee.
Revisions and edits. The $500 build includes thirty days of changes and support from the day it goes live. After that, edits are included on any monthly plan.
Uptime and support. We aim to keep hosted sites available and to reply to problems within one business day.
Limits. The front desk is software and it can be wrong. You stay responsible for your prices, your commitments and your bookings. Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid us. We do not promise particular search rankings or a particular number of leads.
Governing law. Texas law governs this agreement.
AI and call handling
Your phone number. Your number stays your number, on your own account. The receptionist works by call forwarding: calls you do not answer are forwarded to it. We never take over, transfer or replace the number, and cancelling a plan simply ends the forwarding.
Callers are told. The receptionist answers in the business’s name and says at the start of the call that it is an AI assistant. It does not claim to be a person and it does not use a person’s name as though it were one.
Reaching a human. Anyone who asks for a person is either put through or told when the business will call them back. It never traps a caller in a loop.
Recording and transcripts. Calls are recorded. Every caller hears “please know, all calls are recorded for quality assurance” before the call is answered and before any recording begins, so nobody is recorded without being told first. Recordings and transcripts belong to the business, not to us, and can be exported or deleted on request.
What it can do. Answer questions from the business’s own prices, hours and policies; take new customer details; book, move and cancel appointments. It is instructed never to quote outside your price list, never to give medical or legal advice, and never to take a card number over the phone.
When it is unsure. It stops, takes the caller’s details, and tells them the business will call them back.
Mistakes. If it gets something wrong, tell us and we fix the instructions behind it.
Who the data belongs to. Everything your callers tell it is yours. We process it to run the service for you, and you can have it exported or deleted at any time.
