Who owns the website?
You do, from the day it ships. The files are handed to you, and the domain and hosting accounts are in your name, not ours. There is no license and nothing to keep paying to stay online.
What happens if I cancel my monthly plan?
The site stays yours. The receptionist stops answering, and we help you move hosting somewhere else so the site keeps running. No export fee and no pages held back.
Do I need a different phone number?
No. You keep your own number and it stays yours. Calls you do not pick up forward to the receptionist, so nothing on your van or your cards has to change. Cancel and the forwarding simply stops.
Do I have to write the copy?
No. We write it from the first call and send it to you as plain text before anything is designed, so you are correcting words rather than staring at a blank page. If you would rather write it yourself, that is fine too.
How long does it take?
About a week from the first call, as long as we can get hold of you for the review. Bigger builds take longer and we tell you the number before you commit to anything.
Is there a setup fee on the monthly plans?
No. The plans have no setup fee. The only one-time cost is the $500 build, and if you already have a website you can skip that and take a plan on its own.
Does the AI tell people it is an AI?
Yes, at the start of the call. It answers in your business’s name and says plainly that it is an AI assistant. Anyone who asks for a person is passed to you or told when you will call back.
Are calls recorded?
Yes, and every caller is told before the call is answered. The recordings are yours, not ours.
Can I keep my current website and just take a monthly plan?
Yes. If the site you have is working for you, keep it. The front desk runs behind whatever you already have. Tell us what you are using and we will quote it on its own.
